The Plenty by Storz & Bickel has been around for a couple of years now, but it continues to be rated among the best vaporizers on the market. This device has some of the same features that made the Volcano vaporizer a success such as its wide heating chamber and hot air convection heating. Plenty has all the marks of high-quality manufacturing that we have come to expect from Storz & Bickel’s products. If you are new to herbal vaporizers, this is a perfect first device to buy. The fact that there are many positive Plenty vaporizer reviews says a lot about this product.
Plenty looks more like a nail gun. The trigger/auto shut off release button under the handle adds to give it the feel of a utility tool. At the risk of sounding sexist, one can say that this vaporizer was designed with primarily male vapers in mind because it does not have any “girly” vibe to it. With that said, I believe that there are females out there who would enjoy vaping with this device.
Storz & Bickel’s Plenty vaporizer measures nearly eight feet in height and weighs about 700g. It is slightly taller than the Volcano vaporizer but weighs a lot less. The lightweight design of this vaporizer makes a lot of sense since it is a handheld device. The Plenty is essentially a whip-style vaporizer. You have to keep the device plugged in to use it since it does not have a battery.
While the Plenty vaporizer looks like a high-tech device, it is very easy to operate it. The power switch for turning the device on/off is located on its side. When the device is on, the switch will light up. There is a temperature control wheel to the bottom left of the power switch. You can turn the wheel to change the temperature of the device. There are seven temperature settings to choose from; 1 is 266 degrees Fahrenheit; 2 is 288 degrees Fahrenheit; 3 is 310 degrees Fahrenheit; 4 is 331 degrees Fahrenheit; 5 is 352 degrees Fahrenheit; 6 is 374 degrees Fahrenheit, and 7 is 396 degrees Fahrenheit.
This vaporizer heats up quickly. It takes Plenty about 4 minutes to heat up. You need to press the trigger/auto switch off release button for it to heat it. There is an analog thermometer on the front of the device that displays the temperature. When the heating chamber has reached your desired temperature level, a red light will come on under the thermometer. If you do not press the trigger/auto switch off release button after the device hits your desired temperature, it will not continue to heat up. Thankfully, it is almost impossible to grip the handle of this vaporizer without pressing the trigger/auto switch off release button.
Plenty comes with a unique helix-shaped stainless steel coil. The purpose of the coil is apparently to cool down vapor as it travels through it. There is a plastic mouthpiece at the tip of the coil that is very comfortable to use. The coil tends to get warm if you are vaping at a high wattage for a long time. Thankfully, it is only the lower section of the coil that gets a little hot. To access the heating chamber of this device, you need to remove the coil. The Plenty vaporizer has a very large heating chamber, which means you will get loads of clouds from this device. You need to fill the chamber completely or use the liquid pad that comes with the vaporizer. If you do not fill the chamber and do not use the liquid pad, the chances are that the herb, oil or wax will tilt to one wide when you lift the device up to take a hit and you will not enjoy the vaping experience to the fullest.
Cleaning the Plenty vaporizer is pretty easy. You can use soap and water to clean the plastic parts, and alcohol wipes can be used for the metal parts.
You can get Plenty and other Storz & Bickel vaporizers from any top vape store. This device usually costs about $249, but you can get it on Ejuice Pack for only $214.14. This shop does not only sell vaporizers but also e-juice and other products. Ejuice Pack has a massive collection of vaping liquids including weed vapor juice and more. The shop has an e-juice subscription service that you can sign up with to receive either 2, 3 or 5 100ml bottles of e-liquid every month.
